 Along with our catalogue ranges and product suites, we are renowned for our ability to take any piece of Period or Heritage Door Furniture and create an exact replica from scratch. We will take the worn original, create a pattern and have the new furniture Sand Casted. 

 

This type of work is extremely specialist and our staff are competant enough to ensure that each piece of bespoke furniture will be to our high standards. Whether it is a Rim Latch, a Door Handle on Backplate or Rose, we will be able to replicate it. 

 

Here are some examples of some special castings that we have been asked to re-make for various clients over the past 2/3 decades. In most cases,we were presented with a reclaimed or damaged Mortice Knob or Lever and asked to re-produce it to our outstanding Polished Brass look. In every case,the following stages of production were necessary:

 

1. Patterns produced of each item of hardware.

2. Sand Castings of the items produced using the patterns.

3. Hand Worked in our Lye factory.

4. Hand Polished by our skilled work-force.

5. Hand lacquered and packed ready for despatch.
